UM World Markets have signed three new business accounts with wins in Greece, Malaysia and Turkey.

Proving that UM is socially enabled across the globe, offices in Greece and Malaysia have been awarded social media accounts for two top brands.

UM Greece expanded its media duties for AIG Greece, having recently been named the social media agency for the global insurance giant.

Since 1935, AIG has been a constant in Greece, serving more than 270,000 insured with one of the most extensive ranges of products and services in the insurance market. Globally, AIG operates in 130 countries with over 88 million members.  The company has introduced more than 500 new insurance products in the last four years, making it one of the world’s most prolific insurers across the globe.

UM Malaysia also expanded its duties with a top brand by taking over the social duties for Telekom Malaysia Berhard (TM), the nation’s largest telecommunications company.

Building off of their existing relationship with TM, UM was signed to a two-year deal to lead all of the company’s social initiatives. UM already handles TM’s digital media account.

TM is Malaysia’s leading broadband and integrated information and communications group. They offer a comprehensive range of communication services and solutions in broadband, data and fixed-line. In 2014, they launched Malaysia’s first 24-hour dedicated home shopping channel as well as the nation’s On Demand Islamic content – ALHijrah On Demand – providing subscribers with quality Islamic content in HD for the first time on the platform.

Following a three-month pitch, UM Turkey has been named the media agency for ING Emeklilik (Retirement). UM competed against three other finalists to win the sought after account.

ING Retirement is a subsidiary of the ING Group NV NN.  For 170 years, Group NN has served Continental Europe in 18 countries. The first company of its kind to specialize in individual pension accounts, NN focuses on helping people prepare and save for the future while maintaining a high standard of living in the present.

UM will be handling all media planning and buying duties for the company.
