Following a competitive pitch, UM is proud to announce the win of True Value in the United States.

Effective immediately, UM will handle all local and national buying duties for the hardware company.  The account will be led from UM’s Detroit office and be managed by Kathy Doyle, EVP, Managing Partner, Integrative Investment.  According to MediaPost, True Value has spent an estimated 20 million dollars annually on advertising in past years.

“We are thrilled to welcome True Value to the UM family,” said Kasha Cacy, U.S. President, UM. “This latest win adds to UM’s momentum when it comes to breaking new business across the U.S. We are eager to employ our strategic buying tactics to bring the True Value brand to new heights.”

Headquartered in Chicago, True Value is one of the world’s largest retailer-owned hardware cooperatives. The company represents independent locations in more than 60 countries with sales in their communities totaling about $5.5 billion with 13 regional distribution centers and approximately 2,500 True Value Associates.
