IPG Mediabrands agency UM has been appointed to manage the global media account for Regus – the global workplace provider – following a competitive pitch process. UM will represent Regus across 100 countries.

Regus leads the world in helping businesses like Google, Toshiba and GlaxoSmithKline, plus millions of others, making the flexible workplace revolution work for them and for their people. They do this by providing a diverse and ever growing range of convenient, high quality, workplaces with an increasingly wide range of supporting services that are flexible, cost effective and easily accessible. In doing so they help their customers take advantage of the opportunities presented by the fundamental shift from fixed to flexible working to increase productivity and decrease cost and risk.

“We are very excited to be partnering with Regus as they continue to grow in response to the fundamental changes we are seeing, and look forward to implementing a global communications plan that reflects the ambition we see in them,” said Sylvain Valeix, Managing Director, UM International.

“As we enter a crucial stage in the development of our business, it was important for us to find a partner that we felt understood our vision and shared our passion for innovation. UM fit the bill on all levels, and we look forward to working with them over the coming months and years,” said Rick Vlemmiks, Chief Marketing Officer, Regus.
