UM enjoyed an outstanding showing at Festival of Media LatAm (FOMLA), taking home two Gold and one Bronze for work out of Panama and Honduras! See below for the winning campaigns.

UM also took center stage at this year’s festival. Daryl Lee, UM Global CEO, hosted a panel featuring Nagisa Manabe, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, USPS, and Edgardo Tettamanti, SVP Marketing LAC, MasterCard.

Also featuring UM Studios SVP and East Coast Lead, Rochelle Deckelbaum, the panel discussed how old models simply do not work in today’s era of media fragmentation. The conversation highlighted the need for the industry to move from buying impressions to making impressions by creating moments that connect brands with consumers. Under Lee’s stewardship, UM is leading the charge on this front, with exciting projects in the works.

This year’s event focused on the theme “Harnessing the Power of Transformation” in the emerging and adapting LatAm market.

The 2014 Festival of Media LaAm was held at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach from October 1-3.
