This month brought one of the most important events for many American media folks, when the American Advertising Federation (AAF) celebrated their 2013 inductees into the Advertising Hall of Achievement (AHOA). This year, UM’s own Lynn Lewis, Global Managing Partner, J3, was recognized for her outstanding work, many achievements and years of dedicated service to the advertising industry.
This annual honor, the industry’s gold standard for recognizing the leading young advertising professionals, age 40 and under, is a testament to the type of barrier breaker who makes a monumental contribution to the industry and beyond.

“This incredible Class of inductees showcases not only amazing individual accomplishment, but also the amazing impact advertising is having on the cultural landscape of our nation and the world,” said James Edmund Datri, President & CEO of the AAF.

Lynn’s induction into the AHOA is the culmination of her years spent moving the ad industry forward and her contributions to the media community as a whole. The innovative and creative work being done at J3 is testament to her dedication to UM’s philosophy of curious thinking and her innovative spirit.

In addition to her AHOA induction, Lynn was also presented with the esteemed Jack Avrett Volunteer Spirit Award. Since 1996, this award has recognized an inductee who has demonstrated an exceptionally high commitment to public service and the betterment of both the advertising industry and the larger community.

Congratulations Lynn!
