Following the victory of an international tender, UM, global communications network of the group IPG Mediabrands has acquired the media budget of Hitachi Ltd, a Japanese multinational with interests in several sectors including electronic, electrical engineering, transport, engineering and healthcare.

The new partnership has created an institutional campaign, for which the planning has been studied by UM with the aim of promoting the engagement of Hitachi in Social Innovation.

The media strategy is the involvement of the press, poster and digital, speaking to a business target of decision makers.

The poster campaign is focused on the cities of Milan, Rome and Florence, involving the circuit of railway stations also with Maxi LEDs. For the cities of Milan and Rome is also designed a presence at airports. Hitachi will also be present on the main national newspapers and on the economic and financial newspapers and inserts. Integrate planning printing, the main supporting and news magazines, the 2016 Major Cities of Europe Conference, held in Florence on 30 May and 1 June, a selection of local newspapers.
