The Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry (RECMA) has ranked UM Malaysia the number one media agency in the world for the second time in a row. Per the RECMA June 2015 Networks Diagnostics Report, UM Malaysia scored a high of 26 points to retain the number one position.
A total of 650 agencies in 40 countries were assessed by RECMA, which weighted qualitative scores across 19 criteria in four key categories: Compitches, Momentum, Resources and Client Profile. Scores from each category are compiled to determine agencies’ performance and overall hierarchy.
Since 2008, under the direction of Prashant Kumar, CEO, UM Malaysia has grown from a small 28-person shop to a 240-person full-service media and marketing agency with a wide array of diversified services and offerings. The agency first rose to the top of the RECMA list in November of 2014.
Founded in Paris in June 1991, RECMA is the only independent company to publish a wide range of media agency notation reports on a global scale.
