UM Poland will continue to handle the media planning and buying for PKO BP, Poland’s largest retail bank, for an additional two years. The reappointment follows a highly competitive pitch against four other agencies.
Due to its size and position as one of the first banks in the country, PKO BP remains one of the most recognized and valuable brands in Poland. It employs approximately 27,000 people and has a full-year net profit of over 1 billion U.S. dollars.
Although headquartered in Warsaw, the bank is represented outside the country as well, mainly in the Ukraine through their acquisition of KredoBank. The BrandFinance Banking 500, which includes the most valuable bank brands in the world, ranks PKO BP number one in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe and 114th in the world.
