Electrolux, Sweden’s leading vacuum cleaner brand and UM Korea’s key client for the past five years, has awarded UM Korea their Marketing Excellence Award for 2015. This global accolade was won following the successful launch and execution of a campaign for Ultra Flex vacuum cleaner.
With Samsung, LG and Dyson dominating the market share, it was a challenge for the team to achieve some hard KPIs of increasing market share and driving sales.
With the right product positioning, bold messaging and strategic 360 marketing communications combining online, mobile, search, PR and TVC, the team drove market share, increasing profits by 6 percent, while marking over a 20 percent shift in volume growth. The campaign became a game-changer for the market and for Electrolux.
