UM has enjoyed great recognition from the Effie organization recently, with significant wins in Romania, Belgium and Singapore along with an expanded role for our Global CEO, Daryl Lee, on the Effie Worldwide Board of Directors.

UM Romania took home six awards at the 2014 Effie Romania Awards last month, including the Grand Prix for their work done on behalf of Vodafone. Here is the list of this year’s winning cases from the Romanian office:

In addition to UM’s impressive Effie award wins, Daryl Lee, UM Global CEO, was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Effie Worldwide.

The Effie Worldwide Board of Directors works with the CEO and President of Effie Worldwide to set the organization’s course and to ensure that its operations are run efficiently. Effie Worldwide is responsible for the assessment, determination and celebration of effective marketing communications through its 40 global, regional and national programs across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East/North Africa and North America. Daryl has served as an Effie board member since 2010.
